Edun, Dangiwa to grace conference on public buildings insurance

As part of its efforts towards achieving optimal stakeholders participation in the 2023 National Insurance Conference, the Commissioner for Insurance, Olorundare Sunday Thomas, recently paid a courtesy visit on the Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa to seek collaboration and support.
The conference organised by the National Insurance Commission, NAICOM, will hold from October 22-24, 2023
The conference will also have in attendance the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, as the Chief Host.
The visit, according to a statement from NAICOM on Thursday, afforded the Commissioner the opportunity to inform the Minister of the activities of the Commission.
Further, Mr. Thomas requested the physical attendance of the Minister at the conference themed “Redefining Safety – Insurance Solutions For Public Buildings and Buildings Under Construction,” holding at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
Responding, the Minister pledged to collaborate with the NAICOM on compliance with the laws on public buildings and buildings under construction.
Arc. Dangiwa also confirmed his active participation and the Ministry of Housing in the conference.
