Kano state deputy governor, Aminu Abdulsalam, and a veteran journalist, Baba Halilu Dantiye, are among the 19 people whose names were forwarded to the state assembly for approval as commissioners and members of the state cabinet.
The Speaker of the state assembly, Yusuf Falgore, disclosed this on Tuesday at yje plenary while reading the request letter of confirmation from governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The commissioner nominees were to appear before state legislatures on Wednesday for screening by 10.00am.
