Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s absence at the ongoing meeting of National Working Committee, NWC, may confirm his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Already, APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari, has taken over as the acting chairman in the interim, given the political observers more reason to belive the resignation of Adamu.
Adamu was reported to have tendered his resignation to the party’s National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
However, at about 10:40 am on Monday, the Deputy National Chairman led a team of seven other members of the NWC to a meeting in his office.
It was learnt that Kyari’s car was parked in the slot reserved for the National Chairman.
Around 11:20am, Omisore arrived at the secretariat and joined others in the meeting.
