The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed Dr Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman following the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu last month.
’s absence at the ongoing meeting of National Working Committee, NWC, may confirm his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ganduje, the immesiate past governor of Kano State, was named the new Chairman at the ongoing NEC 12th meeting in Abuja.
The NEC also approved the appointement of Senator Basiru Ajibola as National Secretary.
Senator Adamu was reported to have quit his job following misunderstanding between him and President Bola Tinubu.
A top source, who was privy to the development, said though the former governor of Nasarawa State was reluctant to resign, the overwhelming decision of the governors made him change his decision.
