Heads may roll as Kano gov begins cabinet evaluation
Comissioners who failed to tick the boxes of the key performance index, set by Kano State Governor Abba Kabir, may be relieved of their jobs after the elapse of a six-month probation.
This was disclosed on Tuesday during the state council meeting, a statement signed by the Director General to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sanusi Bature, said.

Recall that Governor Yusuf issued six months probation in June, 2023 to his cabinet, charging them to contribute meaningfully to administration or be removed.
The governor has directed the Secretary to the State Government ( SSG) to issue KPI forms to his Commissioners and complete the evaluation process in the next ten days, after which their fate will be determined as the members of the state executive council.
