Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed Hajiya Nana Asmau Jibrin as Director General, Research and Documentation, Kano Government House.
A statement signed on Sunday by the spokesperson to the Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, said Nana served as the Deputy Director of social media for Governor Abba’s campaign organization since 2022.

She is, “a graduate of Political Science with masters in the same field. Asmau is a seasoned broadcaster, publisher and a research analyst with 20 years of experience in Media and Advertising, Entrepreneurship and Project Management.
“She is the Founder, Womanhood Africa Initiative, a Non-governmental Organisation that supports women and girls to improve their livelihood in African region.”
