Tinubu reshuffles state house media team– presidency

The Presidency has announced three spokespersons who will henceforth speak on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.

In a State House press release, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, named himself as one of the spokespersons.

He also named Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications.

Dare was hitherto the Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and National Orientation.

The third spokesperson is Daniel Bwala who was announced last week as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication. He is now the Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication.

Onanuga said the appointments underscore that there is no single individual spokesperson for the Presidency.

“Instead, all the three Special Advisers will collectively serve as spokespersons for the government,” he said.

He added that the approach aims to ensure effective and consistent communication of government policies, decisions, and engagements.
