President Bola Tinubu will today commission the southern Parkway from the National Christian Centre to Ring Road 1, executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration under the supervision of it Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike.
Tinubu, who departed Lagos on Tuesday, is scheduled to commission a number of other projects in the nation’s capital as part of activities lined up to commemorate his one year in office as President.
He was seen off from the commercial capital by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and other government officials.
While in Lagos, the President performed the official flag-off of the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island end of the 700-kilometer project, hailed as an economic and rural community development game changer.

President Tinubu also commissioned the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, as well as virtually commissioned the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the country.
